Because sometimes the interesting answer comes after the obvious one.
Sometimes you have to ask again.
Sometimes you don't have to ask anything at all.
You just have to listen.
Why conversations?
I've always been interested in the space between the question and the answer.
What people choose to say.
What they leave unsaid.
The story behind the story.
And the moment when a conversation stops being an interview and becomes, simply, two people talking.
This is also where much of my storytelling practice comes from.
Listening closely.
Finding the detail.
Following the unexpected turn.
Understanding that the first version of a story is rarely the whole story.
These are the same instincts I bring into my storytelling workshops.
